Fujian Shenyuan New Materials Co., Ltd. is located in the New Chemical Materials Industrial Park, Kemengang Economic Zone, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. As the world's largest caprolactam nylon integration project, the Shenyuan Phase II 400000 t/a polyamide integration project is supported by the construction of 75000 Nm3/h coal hydrogen production and 300000 t/a synthetic ammonia units, of which the gasification unit uses space furnace pulverized coal gasification, and the conversion unit uses two-stage removable thermal temperature control technology, The requirements for shift catalyst activity and shift rate are high. The detoxification tank is filled with KC-101 shift detoxification agent, and the two-stage movable thermal temperature control shift furnace is filled with KC-103S presulfurization sulfur tolerant shift catalyst and KC-102S presulfurization sulfur tolerant shift catalyst respectively.

After detailed and thorough communication with the customer about the loading and temperature rise plan in the early stage, and efficient completion of the loading and temperature rise, the coal based hydrogen production and ammonia synthesis units were successfully started in April 2022, KC series shift catalyst showed good activity, the differential pressure of the shift furnace bed and the carbon monoxide at the shift furnace outlet met the design requirements, and the use effect was affirmed by the owner!
