Congratulations on the successful application of our presulfurized sulfur tolerant shift catalyst KC-103S in the 1 million t/a methanol plant of Qinghai Salt Lake Magnesium Industry Co., Ltd

Qinghai Salt Lake Magnesium Metal Integration Project is located in the Chaerhan Industrial Park, Golmud City, Qinghai Province. It is a large industrial cluster built in the salt lake area based on the Chaerhan Salt Lake and the rich mineral resources in the Qaidam Basin, with magnesium metal as the core, sodium utilization as the secondary line, chlorine balance as the premise, coal as the support, and natural gas as the auxiliary. The 1 million ton/year methanol plant is one of its core production units, It is also the largest 6.5MPa coal water slurry gasification methanol unit in China.

In September 2022, our technicians assisted the company in loading, heating, gas conduction, etc. Through close cooperation between the two parties, the shift catalyst replacement and start-up were successfully completed, and all technical indicators were better than the design requirements.
