With a total investment of 20.63 billion yuan, the China Angola Joint Coal to 1.7 million tons/year Methanol and Olefin Conversion Project is a large-scale coal chemical integration project jointly funded by Sinopec Great Wall Energy Chemical and Anhui Wanbei Coal Power Group, a major construction project of Sinopec, and a key demonstration project in Anhui Province.
The coal gasification unit adopts the original patent "Single Nozzle Cold Wall Pulverized Coal Pressurized Gasification Technology" (SE Dongfang Boiler) issued by Sinopec and East China University of Technology. The transformation is divided into two series. The high CO low water gas ratio sulfur resistant transformation process is adopted, and a two-stage adiabatic transformation furnace (axial furnace+axial radial furnace) is set.
During the overhaul in September 2022, the second series will be replaced with our company's KC-102S presulfurized sulfur tolerant shift catalyst and the supporting KC-101 shift detoxicant. With the guidance of our professional technicians, the loading, temperature rise and gas conduction will be successfully started. The bed temperature was well controlled during start-up and gas transmission, and the side reactions such as methanation were effectively controlled by adding special additives. At present, the catalyst has shown excellent performance in the stable operation of the unit.
The successful application of low water gas ratio presulfiding sulfur tolerant shift catalyst KC-102S in the pulverized coal gasification process has once again proved the maturity and reliability of the presulfiding technology independently developed by our company.
