KC-102S catalyst is a presulfurazation type of KC-102 sulfur tolerant shift catalyst with both special carrier and new additives. It can be used for the medium-pressure process of producing city gas and feed gas from raw material of coal, heavy oil and residual oil. Particularly, it applies to the shift process of low temperature or low water to gas ratio with raw material of coal.
During the process of storage, transportation and loading, there is no need for nitrogen protection. Meanwhile, during use, there is no need for sulfurization and the shift reactor is heated to a predetermined temperature by nitrogen. Then the process gas can be directly introduced. Due to stable sulfurization conditions, KC-102S is sulfurized more sufficiently. So the comprehensive performance of KC-102S prepared by the ex-situ presulfuraztion (KTRES) is better than KC-102.
